The treatment is adjusted especially to your need, and includes different manual techniques, physical and cognitive training as well as information and guidance for a quick recovery.

A chiropractor could act as your primary health contact. 

 

Our chiropractors are all authorized health personnel, with independent responsibility for diagnosis and treatment. As patient you may address your chiropractor directly without referral from a physician, having a regular follow-up of your muscle and skeleton disorders by reports, treatments and preventions.

The chiropractor is able to: 

 

• Examine and treat within the reimbursement system, without referral from a physician 

• Refer patients to specialists and physiotherapists, and to diagnostic imaging like x-ray, MR and CT. 

• Authorize sick leave for up to 12 weeks.

The chiropractor will set the treatment fee. The financial support from health authorities will therefore normally cover only a limited part of the total treatment costs. A treatment from a chiropractor does not qualify for an official free pass system.
