Arthrosis - joints
Arthrosis is the medical indication of osteoarthritis, a degenerative condition of the joints caused by wear and tear on both joints and cartilage. Over time, the cartilage can deteriorate and even disappear completely, and there will be swelling of affected, tender joints. The synovial fluid and the bones are often also affected.
The symptoms of arthrosis are mostly stiffness, pain and reduced flexibility. There are also reports of crunch-like sounds from joints, upon moving. The most frequent causes are age, inheritage and gender, but previous joint damage, hard work and body posture could also bring on arthrosis.
What you can do yourself:
Keep on being active
Eat healthy and varied food
Avoid movements which will stress the symptoms
How we can help:
If pain is permanent and regular, the body will try to compensate to spare you the suffering. A pattern like this could make things worse, add more problems and do more harm.
