Impingement syndrom
Shoulder impingement syndrome occurs when the tendons of the rotator cuff muscles become irritated and inflamed. The result is pain in front part of the shoulder, or in the shoulder itself, depending on which structures are affected.
Calcification could develop, to cause clicking and even more irritated shoulder structures.
